The Hunt For Robin Hood (Nottingham, UK)
Nottingham, UK
The people you travel with will almost certainly dictate the experience you have, and even though I frequently travel solo, this still reigns true. This is because the people you meet will then become the people you travel with, even if they don’t know it. This actually, has very little to do with the subject of this post, which is Nottingham.
Nottingham, most famous for Robin Hood. This was a bit different than my usual travel (which is due to the person I travelled with) and instead of couches or hostels, it was a hotel and resturants (which is almost always the case when travelling with a single female (the definition for single being one, not necessarily unnattached (sorry for the extremely bad grammer of double and now triple use of brackets))). The good thing about this type of travel, is that I get to see more stuff insteasd of just getting wasted. Both are a good time, but if I think I am only going to be in that place once, then I prefer to sight see. Well, actually, I prefer to do both as night life is a part of experiencing a new place.
So.. best thing I saw in Notts.. Sherwood Forest. Ive actually not got much else to say about it, so I’ll let the 3 pictures I have do the talking.. thats equivilant to 3000 words right?
This statue is found in town, outside the castle which the infamous Sherrif of Nottingham resided.
Wanted to get a beer from here, but it was packed
This is found in Sherwood Forest. I think it was about an hour or so out of town. Easily the highlight of the trip.. but I am a nature person.
